One for the Older (and Bigger) Generation

I am 200 pounds and going to be 52 this month. I spent my youth surfing at Trestles and San O, but moved to the East Coast a couple of decades ago. Several years back, I started surfing again, and a little over a year ago, I decided to go back to shortboarding. It has been a journey, but Todd's magic made the mission possible. I now have 3 Monstachiefs (a 7'0 daily driver, 6'10 "good wave" board, and a 7'6 step up). All of them make me look like I am much younger (and much better) than I actually am. And they catch waves like a longboard. Go get one. Many thanks to Todd and Charissa for all of the support!

I couldn’t be happier.

Please tell Todd the new board is fantastic! Had a run of overhead surf recently and I had a blast on it! I couldn’t be happier.

thanks again

Feels like there’s a turbine engine under my feet!

So stoked on the board! Feels like there’s a turbine engine under my feet! Board felt very predictable but loose from the first time I rode it. Thank you for the quality service and impeccable attention to detail.

My next order idea: something around 6’5 to 6’7 and template somewhere between Holy Roller and Pipe Cleaner. My Holy Roller has been so good, just thinking of a step up.

Thanks so much!
