Introducing the ZipstaFish Quad. A fishier version of the Zipstitch.
This summertime speedster uses a slightly flatter, two stage rocker with the apex point in the bottom curve just ahead of the front foot. This creates steady drive off the front foot, necessary in small waves as well as softer waves.
Low entry rocker as well makes it a speedy paddler.
A single to double to spiral vee hull contour keeps it “unstuck” and skimmy across dead spots.
A flatter deck and pinched low volume rails, especially through the fins, lets you knife the rail with dynamic responsiveness.
The quad set up gives you an extra gear of speed as quads love to do, yet with more drive and grip on rail than a twin fin.
Made for waves ankle to shoulder high, but goes killer in bigger softer waves too.
Recommended to be ridden an inch shorter, an inch wider and at the same liters as the Zipstitch. I also recommend glassing this board nice and lite to feel the increased lively flex of the flatter deck line how it springs out of turns. There is a five fin option too so you can go quad or as a two plus one twinny with trailer.
ZipstaFish is grandson to the Zipstitch Surfboard. Ride this one the same volume and about 1 inch shorter & 1 inch wider.

(less domed with volume distributed out to the rail)
When you flatten the rocker and make the outline fuller, that board is going to feel like it has more liters without having more liters just because it has more planing surface. Sometimes you can over-liter grovel boards and then they're clunky. You want something responsive, quick and dynamic.
