RASTA KEEL 'Sea Shepherd' FUTURES TWIN FIN SET | HONEYCOMB

The Rasta Keel was designed by freesurfing icon Dave Rastovich, as he put his own flavor in to a classic Keel design. While Rasta is known for riding alternative crafts, this is his go-to fin for any retro fish design when he wants down the line speed. The Rasta Keel is slightly shorter than our K1 model, with a wider base and overall is right between our K1 and K2 keel fins.

**Newly released Honeycomb/Jute**

Incorporating a layer of natural fiber jute there is an undeniable organic aesthetic, while increasing the stability of the base and leading edge. Rasta is known for riding alternative boards and this is his go-to fin for down the line speed in any twin fin.

  • Lightweight, high-grade, honeycomb construction.

  • Honeycomb fins have a lightweight hexagonal core designed to reduce weight and maintain a consistent feel. The additional Jute layer provide stability in that area, Engineered with a medium flex pattern, they are more stable than Generation Series but more flexible than Control Series. These fins have a Ride Number range of 4-7 and are great all around fins for any condition.

Todd & our whole crew here swear by these on the PostModern Retroactive Twin or Quad Fang - alone as twin setup or with quad rears of your choice for quad setup

Works great with 3.5, 3.75, 4.0 or 4.15 quad rears - the larger the rears the more drive and control, the smaller the rears the looser and skatier

HONEYCOMB

Lightweight hexagonal core. Gives the fin the feel of glass-ons. Engineered with a medium flex pattern, stiffer than Blackstix but more flexible than glass and Techflex.

SIDE FINS:

HEIGHT:  4.77"

V2 FOIL

A V2 Foil is a V. Foil and Flat Foil blend. It takes the best speed generating attributes of the V. (at the base) and transitions into a flat foil in the tip for a controlled release in critical turns. Try the V2 foil if you are transitioning from flat sided fins. The benefits of the V. foil base will be noticeable but the change for your muscle memory will not be too drastic.
