For those of you who love the #Monstachief and want a small wave groveler version, but without the wide tail of the #Monstafish. A fuller nose outline with the wide point moved forward gives the board a little more boosty quick in take off on weak waves. The rocker and heavy single-to-inset double concaves reamain the same as the Monstachief – F (flat and driviest of the Mchief rockers) so you have the same feel just more grovelly and without any weird transition between boards.

One for the Older (and Bigger) Generation

I am 200 pounds and going to be 52 this month. I spent my youth surfing at Trestles and San O, but moved to the East Coast a couple of decades ago. Several years back, I started surfing again, and a little over a year ago, I decided to go back to shortboarding. It has been a journey, but Todd's magic made the mission possible. I now have 3 Monstachiefs (a 7'0 daily driver, 6'10 "good wave" board, and a 7'6 step up). All of them make me look like I am much younger (and much better) than I actually am. And they catch waves like a longboard. Go get one. Many thanks to Todd and Charissa for all of the support!
