For those of you who like the Monsta, this is a high performance shortboard counterpart to that design. I’ve kept the rocker and bottom contours the same as that of the Monsta….so same speed, same positive flow… The outline, rail volume and deck foil is that of the SR-71. A great all-around high performance shortboard that doesn’t require perfect waves to feel perfect under your feet.

Took the new ghost down to Trestles and Mexico for a long weekend, such a great board, Tell Todd spot on, this is for sure my favorite!!!! So responsive, and just WORKS! It is certainly light, wow! Flipping board just rips – what can I say, it’s mind blowing how user-friendly this board is. Thanks so much!!!!

One for the Older (and Bigger) Generation

I am 200 pounds and going to be 52 this month. I spent my youth surfing at Trestles and San O, but moved to the East Coast a couple of decades ago. Several years back, I started surfing again, and a little over a year ago, I decided to go back to shortboarding. It has been a journey, but Todd's magic made the mission possible. I now have 3 Monstachiefs (a 7'0 daily driver, 6'10 "good wave" board, and a 7'6 step up). All of them make me look like I am much younger (and much better) than I actually am. And they catch waves like a longboard. Go get one. Many thanks to Todd and Charissa for all of the support!
