For those of you who like the Monsta, this is a high performance shortboard counterpart to that design. I’ve kept the rocker and bottom contours the same as that of the Monsta….so same speed, same positive flow… The outline, rail volume and deck foil is that of the SR-71. A great all-around high performance shortboard that doesn’t require perfect waves to feel perfect under your feet.

it is just EPIC in anything at all

Todd was right my Ghost has become my favorite board,
it is just EPIC in anything at all, but seriously excels in good waves, love it!!!

It literally made me laugh

OK this board just rips!!! Gets me where I want to go FAST, paddles like a dream, and forces me into better positions and gives me the ability to just rip on a good performance wave, such a blast to have this board on that Indo trip! When I stomp on the traction paid it just BURSTS out more energy / speed, to get around the critical section of the wave. It literally made me laugh, at how much more speed I could generate by stoping on the pad, it was insane good!!!

What a great design

SD just saw a week of great weather and clean shoulder to OH waves. I had several sessions at Sunset Cliffs reefs riding the Ghost.

What a great design in terms of wave catching, easy acceleration and hold in turns.

The board goes insane

Took the Ghost out on it’s maiden voyage. Went out to a break on the north shore and scored overhead+ waves for 2 hours with only the boys out.
The board goes insane!
U should have named it “The Straight Jacket”.

It floats and paddles really well. Plenty of speed and flex and it just carves perfectly for me.

Down the line, in the pocket, cutback, whatever. Stoked.

That’s 3 for 3 on boards. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Thanks again your customer service and attention.

One for the Older (and Bigger) Generation

I am 200 pounds and going to be 52 this month. I spent my youth surfing at Trestles and San O, but moved to the East Coast a couple of decades ago. Several years back, I started surfing again, and a little over a year ago, I decided to go back to shortboarding. It has been a journey, but Todd's magic made the mission possible. I now have 3 Monstachiefs (a 7'0 daily driver, 6'10 "good wave" board, and a 7'6 step up). All of them make me look like I am much younger (and much better) than I actually am. And they catch waves like a longboard. Go get one. Many thanks to Todd and Charissa for all of the support!
